Sport Manitoba is a not for profit organization and the lead planning, programming and funding agency for the development of amateur sport in Manitoba. Located in the Sport for Life Centre, which it owns and operates, Sport Manitoba partners with over 100 organizations to deliver sport in our province and is responsible for programs including the Power Smart Manitoba Games, Coaching Manitoba, Team Manitoba, Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame & Museum, and KidSport. Services provided by the Sport for Life Centre include the Sport Medicine Centre, Sport Performance Centre, and Sport Resource Centre.

Each year over 275,000 Manitobans register with our Provincial Sport Organizations. Of these participants approximately 153,000 are competitive athletes, 20,000 are active coaches and 8,000 are registered officials. Another 100,000 participants annually benefit from introductory camps, clinics and programs that are offered regularly throughout the province.
